This is a searchable database of properties in the North East of England that are currently used as, or available for use as, workspace for professional artists.  Please read our Terms and Conditions before you use the database.

The database is added to whenever we find suitable workspace.  Details go out of date quickly, so we recommend that you contact the property holder to register your interest even if there's a waiting list.

Most of these properties are either existing artists' studios or managed workspace developments designed for small businesses but occupied by professional artists.  However, there are opportunities for taking on other vacant space for development as studio accommodation - an aspect of the database which we expect to build upon.
